About Us
Welcome, my name is Mark Comstock (I'm the one on the left in the picture on the home page) and I just really enjoy chartered fishing trips. I grew up in the midwest so I was nowhere near an ocean but got a chance to take my first deep sea trip when I was 16 years old off California's coast and was immediately hooked. Since then, I've chartered boats several times in the Gulf, off the Atlantic coast of Florida, 1 more time in California, and a few times off the coast of South Carolina (which is where I live). I even got to catch a sailfish while we were in Aruba in 2006.
When we moved to South Carolina my goal was to get out deep sea fishing at least once a year (and hopefully twice). I have not been able to reach my goal and realized it was primarily because of the cost. A few friends and neighbors like to fish but not enough to split a $1800 charter (plus tip) to head out to the gulf stream (a trip I've been wanting to take for years). This is what motivated me to create this site and I hope to personally join in as many charters as I can.
